Up here for your consideration is a Conway Stewart “DINKIE” fountain pen, which was manufactured in England circa 2000s.
The Dinkie pens were first launched in 1925. Conway Stewart being the first company to launch such a small pen. It soon became their best selling line, and carried on being so for over 60 years.
The pen available here is handcrafted from solid rod of acrylic resin. Solid 18ct gold rings are swaged by hand into each cap band, matching perfectly the 18ct gold plated fountain pen nib The nib feeder is made from ebonite, more commonly known as hard rubber. Ebonite is renowned for being the very best ink feeder material available.
This DINKIE is a new old stock, never been inked before.
The complete set comes with a leather jewelry gift box with outer paper sleeves. Inside the gift box is a black leather pouch/wallet for protection and ease of transportation, with a coin and stamps from 1925.
