The ‘Swan’ pen trademark is first adopted in 1884.

In 1909 production of pens is begun in England and the tradmark ‘Swan, the pen of the British Empire’ comes into use. Eventually, ‘Swan’ became another word for ‘pen’ in the popular lexicon.
Around 1923, the firm began production of its line of ‘Eternal’ pens, featured the lever fillers. These were very solid and well made pens, with several attractive colours available.

Till now, Swan fountain pens are highly sought after by collectors around the world.
