Up here is a vintage Waterman’s IDEAL Silver-Ray INK VUE fountain pen and pencil SET, which was manufactured in USA circa 1930s.
This Waterman’s is a fine example, in eye-catching gorgeous rare silver black striped marble, and semi-transparent amber striped barrel. You can see thru the amber semi-transparent barrel under the light clearly, and you will not be disappointed.
The chrome plated pocket clip, cap band and side lever is in parallel lines art-deco patterning.
The pen is in nice condition. It bears a large Waterman’s 14ct solid gold nib, with nice keyhole airhole.
The imprint on the barrel is crisp.
A new ink-vue sac has been fitted. The filling system is in good working order.
The pen has been restored and tested for full functionality.
