Up here is a vintage Conklin Crescent-filler fountain pen, which was manufactured in USA circa 1910s. The pen is an ultra rare example of the series. Although the pen age over 100 years, the condition is EXCELLENT. The gold filled overlay is ding-free; and there is NO discoloration on the black hard rubber. The pen is highly sought after example in excellent condition. It is in SENIOR version of the series, long and bold of overall length 5-1/4 inches. The pen is in stunning ding-free 18ct gold filled overlay in heath etched floral filigree pattern. On the cap is an empty space for personalization. On the pocket clip of pen is the patent date ‘Conklin PAT.MAY-28-1918’ embossed. On the crescent lever is embossed ‘Conklin’ & ‘CRESCENT REG.U.S.PAT.OFF.’. The pen bears a Conklin 14ct solid gold nib. A new sac has been fitted and the CRESCENT filling system is in full working order. The pen set has been serviced and tested for full functionality. This Conklin is a classic elegance. The colour even makes it extremely attractive, rare and highly sought after by collectors all over the world
