Up here for your consideration is a vintage Conway Stewart 22 fountain pen, which was manufactured in England circa 1955-57. The Conway Stewart 22 is in cream floral design, with grecian cap band. It is believed that only one production run of around 2000 were made of this model, therefore very rare and the most sought after CS model. The pen is in excellent condition, even more rare and highly collectible due to minimal discoloration found on this example. Many of these pens show discoloration and yellowing on the body due to age, yet the condition on this pen is minimal. The grecian gold cap band, gold pocket clip, side lever and the trim are in nice condition. It bears a Conway Stewart 14ct solid gold nib. The lever filling system is in perfect working order. A new sac has been fitted. The pen has been serviced and tested for full functionality. This Conway Stewart is a classic elegance and has been produced to the highest standards of craftsmanship. The special pattern colour even makes it extremely attractive, rare and highly sought after by collectors all over the world.
